I wish you could all be with Maguire for 5 minutes. That’s all it would take for you to fall in love with him. Or strangle him. It really could go either way. I don’t think there is a kid out there with as much personality, charm & weirdness all rolled up into one little body. While I was at Costco last week, I assumed Maguire was walking nicely behind me, but I heard some people laughing and when I turned around, Maguire was running and sliding on his knees, while playing some very intense air guitar. Someone started clapping and another guy said, “that was awesome buddy!” and in my head I’m thinking…please don’t encourage him. Of course he loved it so I spent the rest of the time running over him with the cart every time he stopped to go nuts on his “guitar”.
He doesn’t know how to whisper. Or talk softly. We’ve practiced. But with him every thing is crazy and amazing and must be yelled. He tries to tell us stuff but is laughing so hard we can’t understand him. He always runs, always jumps off of anything that he can climb up, and eats his food so fast he usually gags at least once during each meal. I try to slow him down, but it’s just not in him. So when I was outside one night about a month ago and he came up to me with a clean shirt and face and his hair still done from preschool, I ran and grabbed my camera, ready to bribe him with anything. But he just let me take pictures. I didn’t say one thing to him, just let him be goofy, crazy, serious and intense. Because that’s what he is. And we love him to death.
It started out quite calmly…

Then it got really weird with these moves….what’s going on….

Oh there we go.

And I was just waiting for these to happen….


I laid him down in a patch of grass to calm him down. It did work for a second.

I had to get a picture of him in this hat. He pulled it out of the box when Jenn sent it to me, and has worn it almost every day since! So cute! You can buy it and other adorable hats here!



One thing is for sure, he is such a handsome little guy. He definitely adds tons of fun to our family!

Oh and can you believe we cut off his long luscious hair??? Ryan talked me into it and it was great for the summer, but I’m growing it back out.

I love these three adorable kids! They are always so good when they come! I had to have Beth come back since she wasn’t feeling it when they all came. It’s much easier to try another day than to fight a baby that is having an off day. I think she just didn’t like sharing the spotlight with her siblings.

It’s really crazy to think I’ve photographed all of Laura’s newborns. I’ve been doing this for a little over 5 years now! It’s crazy! Talon was three weeks old but he slept like he was just born yesterday. What a cute bunch of boys!!











Laura and her husband met in Portrugal, so it was only fitting that I turned this box to the side and get some shots of the cool stamp on the side!
