I have been photographing Carmen since she was a newborn and I’ve had so much fun capturing her as she grows. She has a brand new baby brother now and OH MAN he is the CUTEST little thing I’ve ever seen. I know I say that a lot but seriously, look at him! They were both really good for their pictures, we got so many cute ones! Did I ever mention how much I love photographing these little ones?? Well I do. SO MUCH. I am so lucky.

He was getting a lot of love from his big sister, but he handled it pretty well! haha

Carmen is just such a sweetheart. I love her.

What an adorable little tiny baby face! And she is too cute hiding her face behind her little hand!
Hi Skye,
I’m having my first little boy any day now & I’d love to know where you purchased the knit cap and blanket in the last photo in this blog entry. I think you may also have a picture of the same knit cap on your website’s header. Hoping to hear from you!
Thank you,
Elisa
p.s. I just LOVE your photography.. it’s beautiful, thoughtfully rendered and every photo is a treasure.
Hi Elisa, the hat is from Amanda Keeys, the link it at the top of my blog for her etsy store. It’s wonderfully soft, I love it so much. And the fur blanket if from an online fabric store, I honestly can’t remember where I found it. It was by the yard so maybe Johanns?
Oh I love her nose…it goes with that pixie hat so great! Skye, I can’t find the right size bucket. Any spots you know to get the smaller bucket?
Tiff, finding the right size bucket is SO HARD! I bought about 4 until I found this one, which I thought was going to be way too small but their bodies fill it up just right and support their heads. I got this one at Roberts, it had two smaller buckets inside of it and was over $50. There’s no brand name on it and I’ve never seen anymore there! Have you been to Tai Pan? They always have tons of stuff like that!
Your newborns photos make me want to do them to.
Hi Skye! I’m a photographer out of Seattle and I came across your beautiful work while I was shopping on Etsy. Truly gorgeous photography! I’m dying over those yellow tiles, would you mind sharing where you found them? Thanks, Julie
THanks Julie!! I got them at an antique store, they are ceiling tiles from a mansion down south somewhere, I wish I could find more!
