So well trained it’s scary.

I really need to video this happening. I go down to my studio to clean up and get ready for the next session and Saylor is usually with me. She points to my camera and I pick it up. She points to my light and I turn it on. Then she scoots her little body back until she gets to a chair or something to sit on. She sits down and smiles at me, sometimes pointing to my camera again, as if to remind me how this process works. As soon as I click the picture, she moves to a different chair or background, and points again. She seriously loves it, and I love how at the end of most photo shoots, there are pictures of her, because I can’t resist her pointing.

And some random stuff that popped into my head while looking at these pictures. I put those red flowers in her hair but thought she looked like Princess Leia, so I took them out. Saylor got them out of the drawer by herself, went in front of the mirror and tried so hard to make them stick to her head. She tried for so long while I was doing my make up that I finally just put them in, even though I thought they looked really silly.

Her red shirt is a newborn size 0-3 month cardigan and her shoes are size 3-6 months. Her insanely cute skirt is from Trendy Tots.

I’ve gotten some emails asking if Saylor ever got teeth. At 18 months she is sporting two on the bottom and two on top. How weird is that??

And thank you everyone for the sweet comments about Gracie dressed up as a mermaid. She was in heaven reading all the nice things everyone wrote, but I think her favorite was from her daddy, how sweet! He’s been in Canada for awhile and we miss him!
