London & Wyatt

It is not easy to get a two year old to get changed over and over and keep being told where to sit and to keep looking at the camera for an hour……but it is so worth it, these two year olds are so precious, especially when they are as cute as London with the perfect amount of sass. Older brother Wyatt got in a few too, they are both so sweet and just beautiful.

I have to post a few more baby chick ones……the second one is where she started getting a little too brave and we had to remove the chickies from her eager little hands…..

Skye I love your work, you are by far my most favorite photographer! All these kids you photograph are so beautiful, you are lucky to live in a state that has so many beautiful children!

Lisa Packer - April 26, 2010 - 8:06 pm

Oh Skye, these are so precious and I will cherish them FOREVER!!!! I don’t know how you did it but you captured my little girls personality perfectly!!! And I love the ones of Wyatt. I am just thrilled how they turned out and I can’t stop smiling. You are very gifted and I an very grateful for your talent!

Jennifer O. (Romeo and Mae) - April 27, 2010 - 7:39 am

She looks like a model! And that is the cutest pettiskirt ever…do you know where it’s from?!

Skye Johansen - April 27, 2010 - 9:34 am

Thanks you guys! Jennifer, it’s from Oopsy Daisy Baby, an online pettiskirt store, my girls wore them for my sisters wedding last year and they were to die for!

Jennifer HK - April 27, 2010 - 11:00 am

Skye,

Do you own EVERY piece from the spring MJ line!? If so, I’m totally jealous!! : ) BTW, the pettiskirt pic is just adorable! The boots really top it off. I just LOVE oopsy daisy; they truly make quality pettis. I bought my daughter Olivia one of the petti dresses recently and am in love… : )

Michelle - April 27, 2010 - 11:12 am

Jennifer, she actually DOES own EVERY piece, since she won the Matilda Jane contest in December, she has a huge walk in closet in her studio completely packed with MJ clothes. And her clients get to benefit from it!

hey skye! is the first outfit she is in from matilda jane? the gray one. LOVE it! i want one for my little girl! so jelous of all your fun clothes!

Melissa - April 28, 2010 - 12:54 am

PLEASE tell me you know where the dress with the big fat button by the shoulder came from! I fell in love with it on a previous photoshoot where a little girl was wearing one in different colors and I covet (and am pregnant)!!! Anyway what more can I add or say…I have long stopped trying to fight with myself over which picture or shoot I like best!

Kylee - April 28, 2010 - 1:49 pm

I just love following your blog!!! These pictures are too dang cute for words!! It has only been a couple months since you photographed my kids and i am already for more!!!!! You are like a drug!!

skye johansen - April 28, 2010 - 3:13 pm

Julie yes that the first dress is from MJ, my girls wore those for their Easter dresses and they looked freaking adorable!
Melissa, that one with the button is from Persnickety, they have really cute clothes but I have been VERY disappointed with the quality of them. They are priced about the same as Matilda Jane, but with one washing they look terrible! Plus they really need to do something about the way they fit, since getting babies into that dress is so hard and they are crying by the time we get it on, it’s SO TIGHT! I bought one for Saylor but only wore it on her once since getting it off and on her was the most traumatic thing ever!!! Anyways, just saying, they have such cute clothes but shouldn’t be charging so much…the quality just isn’t there.

Amanda Keeys - April 28, 2010 - 9:16 pm

Oh my GOODNESS, those kids are incredibly adorable. Love these shots.
