She went to bed 23 months old. And woke up two years old. Suddenly we aren’t keeping track of months, but years. I can’t believe she is turning into a little girl. While I am sad that my “baby” is moving into a big girl bed, potty training & leaving behind her beloved binky and bottle, I am excited to move onto the next phase with my sweet kids. It’s been seven years since I started having babies and it’s been a lot of work to get these four kids to this point. We are moving into the school, dance, & sports stage and so far it’s a ton of fun and a different kind of work. So while YES I would love to keep having babies to play with, our family is complete, and Saylor plays the perfect part of spoiled baby sister. Everyday she seems to learn something new that makes us all laugh. On her birthday she kept pointing to her cake on the table and saying “HAPPY HAPPY!” since she can’t say birthday that’s all we heard allllllll day and it was adorable. I had this wonderful lady Karen make this cake for Saylor, and it turned out even better than I imagined! Email me if you want her number!
Here’s Saylor, with her cake. I just grabbed one for now since as usual it’s the middle of the night and I am exhausted.

And that concludes one of the CRAZIEST most INSANE weeks of my entire life. Aside from the rearing and raising and entertaining and feeding and bathing of four children, I did 11 shoots, (mostly newborns) made it to a doctor and orthodontist appointment ON TIME, planned Saylors birthday, & spent all day Saturday at Gracies dance competition. And what I’m really proud about is that we only ate out once, which was pizza on Friday night when Ryan was taking care of the kids while I was with Gracie at her dance rehearsal for four hours. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my sister in law’s help, she practically lived at my house last week. Thank you Randa.
And for some proof of the wild week we just lived through, here in all it’s glory is a corner of my boys room. You know how after a big trip you take the week to recover and get settled back into your routine and do some cleaning? Well I didn’t get to do that.

See the duffel bag? That is from our Canada trip, which was over a week ago.
The good news is that tomorrow I will be posting some gorgeous newborns that I edited on the weekend. Ka-imi, Seven, Phoebe and Treyden are all coming up next. Thank you so much for everyones patience right now.

Are you sure your family is complete? I have a seventh month old who is driving me nuts in case you change your mind. Sounds like you need a vacation from your vacation.

Thank you so much everyone! Taking those pictures last week was pretty crazy, but it’s the editing that is looming over me that makes me want to run and hide from my computer!
Wendy, her name is Karen Christensen, but I don’t want to put her phone number here on my blog, so just email me if you would like it!
Thanks guys!
Oh and the song is by Mariana’s Trench, they are a Canadian band and my absolute favorite right now! The only problem is that you can’t buy any of their good songs on itunes, I had to get mine when I was in Canada. LAME!!
