So we survived the craziness of my brothers wedding, and now I’m getting ready for shooting this week in this crazy windy place. I’ll post some pictures from his wedding and more from their engagement shoot (thanks for the awesome comment Stacie, I love you.)

Ryan picked up some new chicks a few weeks ago and they have been a huge hit in my studio. Just in time for Easter too. Aren’t they so adorable?? Since a few of you will ask, we have these chicks to add to our chicken coop. Right now we have four full grown hens that lay eggs for us, and our kids are in charge of gathering the eggs every day and giving the chickens food and water. Since four eggs a day isn’t quite enough, we got some more! We love the little gray one, she looks like a penguin and supposedly lays easter eggs (blue and other cute colors) so we’ll see!

That so freaking cute!
Oh my! Too too adorable. I love this shot.
Skye-
I had to show my husband this post because he has been wanting to get chickens forever. He asked me to request more posts about chickens! (He’s funny – he knows I’m a fan of yours and actually said that since you have chickens, I will now allow them. We’ll see.) Oh and hopefully we’ll be digging the hole for our house next week! (We’re right behind the new church that’s going up across the street from you.) If you get some stranger knocking at your door wanting to see your chicken coop – that will be my husband.
I have always wanted to take my kids pics with baby chicks, both are Easter babies. Maybe next year, love it! You did an amazing job! Also love the pics of your brother and his fiance. They are gorgeous!!!
This picture is simply divine!
